Philosophy of Education
I am a passionate, positive and dynamic teacher who believes pupils have the right to learn in a supportive and inclusive environment with high aspirations for future success.
I believe that teaching is about giving every child, every chance, every day.
Favourite Teaching Moment
It is so hard to pick one moment, but over the years I have successfully supported a number of pupils with additional needs, who were attending “Nurture class”, back into the mainstream classroom.
Through being compassionate, calm and consistent it has enabled me to build positive relationships and an environment where pupils feel happy, safe and secure.
Interests and Hobbies
At weekends you will find me walking with my family and taking our cocker spaniel Hazel on long walks in the woods or down the beach. I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, gardening and going to the cinema.
