About Our Class
In Three Cliffs we have firmly found our feet in the Gower Beaches classes, are growing up and maturing in our friendships and outlook.
We love to get busy with creative tasks and have enjoyed lots of musical experiences such as Bandalong. We enjoy visits in the local area, especially the beach and the woods.
Big Questions for the Year 2025 - 2026
- Autumn Term: What’s in our square mile? / How does the world celebrate?
- Spring Term: Where shall we go in our time machine? What if dragons were real?
- Summer Term: How do we look after our world? What’s it like beside the seaside?
Special Projects/Events:
- Autumn Term: Bandalong (continued throughout year), Christmas Carol Concert.
- Spring Term: School Eisteddfod, World Book Day.
- Summer Term: National Numeracy Day, Gower Beaches summer show, Enterprise project for school fayre, Food and Fitness Week, Sports Day.

Thursday – Miss Draper PPA in the afternoon, Mrs CJ Morgan teaches the class.
Friday – New spellings sent home.
Daily – Named water bottle and healthy snack.
Classroom Expectations
Good behaviour is essential in any community and at Oystermouth Primary School we have high expectations for this. The school community abides by the Oystermouth Way:

The Oystermouth Way covers all areas of school life and is exemplified by everyone.
Class Rules:
- Follow the Oystermouth Way.
Ball games in the yard: An adult randomly picks the teams every play time. Respectful language and actions at all times. If a class member breaks these rules they will be asked to leave the game. Every play is a fresh start.
Homework
- Homework menu for every new topic.
- MyMaths or other maths homework set from Monday to Monday
- Reading: You may borrow a book from our school library, or read a book from home
- Spellings: Sent home to learn on Friday, tested the following Thursday.
Parent/Carer Information
- Encourage frequent reading and listen to your child read often.
- Practise times tables.
- Help your child to complete MyMaths homework. Encourage them to do the ‘Lesson’ part of the the task, which goes over the skills needed, as well as the ‘Homework’ part.
- Talk to your child about the topics they are learning about, find books and information at home.
