Supply teaching at various schools after qualifying; started work at Oystermouth as PPA teacher in 2007, Reception teacher 2015-20, Year 4 teacher 2020 – Present.
Philosophy of Education
I believe a teacher should nurture each child as an individual, fostering their creativity, and caring for their unique needs. Children should feel supported, valued, and inspired to explore their potential. I feel that communication and partnership between parents and school is essential in building this relationship.
Favourite Teaching Moment
When a child came into class in the morning with a very lumpy looking cap on. I asked him to take it off, and when he did, about fifteen conkers rolled out and onto the floor.
Interests and Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, singing and playing in musical groups, reading, cooking and gardening.
