On Wednesday 29th April, 34 pupils from Oystermouth Primary School’s tennis clubs took part in a Tennis Festival Day at the Bishop Gore School Tennis Courts.
The activities were organised and led by Bishop Gore Sports Ambassadors, including three former Oystermouth pupils. Throughout the day, children took part in a range of fun tennis-based activities including serving, volleying, aiming at targets and teamwork games using rackets, balls and bean bags.
The warm and sunny weather helped make the event even more enjoyable, with pupils benefiting from the opportunity to be active outdoors and meet children from other schools.
The festival was a fantastic experience for all involved, with pupils showing enthusiasm, teamwork and excellent participation throughout the morning and afternoon sessions. Every pupil received a certificate in recognition of their successful participation in the festival.
Big thanks to the parents who assisted with transport to and from the festival.
