Philosophy of Education
My teaching philosophy centres on creating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment that fosters independence and curiosity. I believe in using interactive and dynamic teaching methods to capture pupils’ interest, making lessons both fun and meaningful. Encouraging pupils to take ownership of their learning through hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks helps build their confidence and autonomy. By nurturing a supportive atmosphere, I aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning and empower pupils to explore their passions and potentials.
Favourite Teaching Moment
I have only been teaching for a short while but I have loved taking the children on educational visits so they can immerse themselves and get a first-hand, real life experience, such as going to Castell Henllys and Caerleon.
Interests and Hobbies
Watching and playing sports including; football, rugby, cricket and golf. I am always playing rugby with my friends at South Gower RFC.
Spending time with friends and family.
