What a lovely Summer Fayre we had on Saturday 13th June. The sun was shining, the turnout was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the event together.
A huge amount of work went into making the fayre happen, from the early morning set-up right through to the final clear-up. I am incredibly grateful to our PTA, parent helpers, staff and pupils for the time, energy and enthusiasm they gave.
There was something for everyone, with the BBQ, cake stall, raffle, tombola and pre-loved uniform stall all proving popular. The class enterprise stalls were also a real highlight, and I was so proud of the creativity and effort shown by both staff and pupils. A big thank you also goes to our external stallholders for supporting the fayre and helping to make it such a varied and enjoyable event.
We are still confirming the final amount raised, but there is no doubt that the fayre was a huge success. More importantly, it was a lovely reminder of what a strong and supportive school community we have.
