Festive Cheer Fills Our School as Christmas Celebrations Get Under Way

The festive season is well and truly under way at school, with a wonderful programme of Christmas performances and events already bringing joy to pupils, families and staff.

Last week, Dosbarthau Limeslade and Rotherslade delighted a packed hall with their Christmas performance of Twas The Night Before Christmas. As the youngest pupils in our school, they put on a fantastic show, singing beautifully and spreading plenty of festive cheer. The audience of proud parents, grandparents and carers were clearly impressed, and the children should be extremely proud of themselves. A huge well done to all the staff and pupils involved for such a memorable performance.

Tomorrow, it is the turn of Dosbarth Langland and Dosbarth Caswell, who will be performing Simply The Nativity. Excitement is already building, and we are very much looking forward to another lovely celebration of music, storytelling and festive spirit.

Looking ahead to next week, the whole school community is warmly invited to the Gower Beaches Carol Concert at All Saints Church on Tuesday 16th December at 2.00pm. The concert will feature our school orchestra, festive readings and plenty of singing, and promises to be a very special afternoon.

In addition, on Sunday 14th December at 4.00pm, All Saints Church will host the RNLI Carol Service, which will include performances from our very own school choir. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to be part of a wider community event and share their talents beyond the school gates.

The festive celebrations will conclude on the final day of term, Friday 19th December, with Christmas Dinner Day. Christmas dinner will be served in the canteen for all children from Reception to Year 6 who would like one, and all pupils are invited to come to school wearing festive clothes to mark the occasion.

As we approach the end of term, we would like to wish all our pupils, families, staff and friends of the school a very happy Christmas and a peaceful, healthy holiday season. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year.
