On 19th November 2024, Oystermouth Primary’s Dosbarth Rhossili (Y6) girls’ netball team, with the support of a talented Dosbarth Oxwich (Y5) winger, competed in the prestigious Urdd Girls Netball Tournament at Swansea Bay Sports Park.
The team displayed incredible skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the event, making it all the way to the semi-finals. In a hard-fought match, they were narrowly defeated by Hendrefoilan Primary School.
Coach Mrs Morris was full of praise for the team, saying, “Their effort and sportsmanship were outstanding. They’ve made the entire school incredibly proud!”
