Pupils at Oystermouth Primary recently took part in a thoughtful and engaging assembly led by Anthony Quinn-Flipping from Inclusability Swansea & NPT. The session, titled ‘Who Are You?’, encouraged children to explore and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
Anthony spoke about how we all have different likes, dislikes, hobbies and abilities, and highlighted the importance of treating everyone with kindness, respect, and creating a safe space for our friends. The assembly also touched on the value of understanding and supporting people with different abilities, setting the tone for World Autism Acceptance Month, which is just around the corner.
The message was clear and powerful: by being inclusive and respectful, we help make our school a place where everyone feels valued and accepted. It was a meaningful reminder of the importance of being a rights-respecting school and looking out for one another.
