Sunday 11th May saw Underhill Park come alive with colour, laughter and community spirit as Oystermouth Primary School’s PTA hosted a hugely successful Colour Run, raising an incredible £4,036.77 for the school.
Over 200 runners took part in the fun-filled event, with pupils collecting sponsorship from friends and family to support their school. The atmosphere was electric, with colour clouds filling the air, a BBQ and bar keeping everyone fuelled, and smiles all round. Medals were proudly handed out by Mrs Morgan and Miss Williams, rounding off a day full of celebration and achievement.
A big congratulations goes to Oxwich Class, who raised the most money and won themselves a well-earned extra playtime.
The PTA shared their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the event—from those who collected sponsorship, to the fantastic volunteers who helped on the day. Special mentions went to the BBQ crew, bar team and registration helpers, colour throwers, Tara for leading the energetic warm-up, Pippa for creating the colourful balloon arches, and the core organising team for their behind-the-scenes efforts.
It was a brilliant day for the whole school community and a shining example of what can be achieved when everyone comes together.
