On Friday 16th May, Oystermouth Primary School hosted a busy and inspiring Careers Fair, linking perfectly with this term’s Big Question, ‘What will I be?’. The event provided pupils with a fantastic opportunity to meet and speak with visitors from a wide range of professions, helping them explore future career possibilities in an engaging and real world environment.
Throughout the day, children from all year groups asked thoughtful questions, learned about different job roles, and discovered the skills and qualities needed to succeed in various fields. From healthcare to engineering, creative arts to emergency services, the Careers Fair truly opened young minds to the many paths their futures might take.
We were delighted to welcome so many of our wonderful parents into school to share their expertise and experiences. Their involvement was key to the success of the event, and it was clear that their insights left a lasting impression on our pupils.
Mrs Morgan, Headteacher, said,
“It was heartening to see our school community come together in such a meaningful way. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to support our Careers Fair. You have helped to inspire the next generation, and we are truly grateful.”
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to making the day so memorable.
