Oystermouth Primary is proud to be supporting two wonderful charities this November – the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal and BBC Children in Need.
Poppy Appeal 2025
The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, held every November during the period of Remembrance. We will have a Poppy Shop under the gym after school every day this week, with 100% of profits going directly to support the Royal British Legion’s work with the Armed Forces community, both serving and ex-serving personnel, and their families.
By shopping at the Poppy Shop, you’ll be helping to fund vital services such as expert guidance, recovery, and rehabilitation — every donation truly makes a difference.
Children in Need Day – Friday 14th November
To mark Children in Need Day, pupils are invited to come to school dressed in onesies or pyjamas on Friday 14th November. Donations on the day for Children in Need are warmly welcomed!
From now, Children in Need products are on sale in school — including Pudsey Ears (£2.50) and Pudsey Pin Badges and Pens (£1 each). Please send money in an envelope with your child’s name and order. A minimum of 50p from each sale will help support disadvantaged children across the UK.
